BRIEF
TIME TO COMPLETE: 15 MINUTES
BRIEF: Design a small tourist pavilion in the Grand Canyon, America to observe the wild animals of the canyon.
BRIEF SPECIFICATIONS: Pre-fabricated pavilion, helicoptered into place on the side of the mountain, base shaped to suit the contour topography of the land, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, no cooking facilities, solar panel power, designer stairs to roof, helicopter roof pad.
BRIEF KEY WORDS: Pre-fabricated building, mountain views, box shape, designer stairs, helicopter access.
KEY FEATURES: Large window, simple design, designer stairs, helicopter roof.

3D SKETCHUP MODEL This is a 4 minute video of how to use Google Maps site images in Sketchup. Import Geo Location information from Maps & use land form terrain to create a 3D topographical model of your site. Import your 3D pavilion model into the 3D site model. Take screenshots of your pavilion in its natural environment. |
STAGE#4 - CONCEPT VISUALS
TIME TO COMPLETE: 30 MINUTES
I used Photoshop to cut around & delete the backgrounds of the helicopter & people. I removed the blue background of the Sketchup screenshot & replaced it with a sky image. I made the pavilion window white. I added the helicopter & people to create the final image.
