10AOF Architecture of the Future
10AOF: In this course learners will explore Digital Technology & Architecture.
Learners will develop their own architecture project using contexts for learning including; design thinking, analysing local, global, historical, contemporary and cultural architecture then develop ideas by drawing, 3D modeling and using digital technologies to create images of their architecture designs.

hOW TO SCREENCASTIFY MINECRAFT

Install Screencastify Chrome app & link it to your school Google account. Maximum screen recording time is 5 seconds. Start Screencastify & click the 'record your screen' popup. Record your Minecraft - 5 seconds max time because the file size cant be over 10MB |

Download your Gif movie Open Weebly to edit your website. Drag the image icon to your site & upload your GIF |

Give your video a text title & description of the video. Publish your site. Repeat process with other videos of your Minecraft architecture. |
AC FRONT SITE WEBSITE
Before you can create your website you need to have all the "content" in your 10AOF folder.
You should have the following content to put on your website:
1 - a 1 sentence description of your project design
2 - photos of hand drawn sketch ideas (take photos of your drawings, email them to yourself, save them in your folder)
3 - Photoshop screenshots of your minecraft architecture (save screenshots using photoshop, save as .jpeg images)
4 - Sketchpad images of your architecture design
5 - Screencastify gifs of your architecture design
6 - Autodraw image of your architecture design

WEBSITE SAFETY: No personal information, no name, phone number, insta tag, images of you, family or friends - nothing that identifies you on your website - only content about your design.
WEBSITE: Make a website of your AC front site design using Weebly. Name your website - AC & your student number... example: AC12345.weebly.com

The front site at Alfriston College offers the opportunity for you to develop your architecture skills by design a project concept to benefit the school & community.

BRIEF: Design an architecture project on the front site of Alfriston College. Complete this Project Information document to develop your Project Brief. Do design drawings. 3D model your design in Minecraft or Sketchup. Use Photoshop to visualise your design concept on the site. The skills you develop doing this project will help you in 11AOF in 2021.
AOF INSPIRATIONAL ARCHITECTURE DOC
INSTRUCTIONS: click the AOF Inspirational Architecture doc link, make a copy of it, add your name to the end of the doc title, look at the example on page 1, research the architecture on the Cool1,2,3 & Best 2016 pages, pick 1 building that is inspirational to you from each page & complete the doc by adding 1 image & the writing parts.
